About
At times we all struggle with feeling overwhelmed, down, or confused. Like physical health, our mental health is an important part of our over all well-being. When we are out of balance everything feels harder. I am a firm believer in the dignity and worth of all individuals. I also believe that the understanding of oppression is an important part of therapy and recovery is a social justice issue. I'm a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor. I have been in the field for over 15 years.
I am highly trained in grief, gender & sexual identity, anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma and DBT. I aim to help you explore your own strengths and problem-solving strategies. I serve as a non-judgmental sounding board to help you explore things you would like to change. My goal is to work myself out of a job so you can get on with your life.
My therapy style is down to earth and focused on client's strengths and resilience. I believe that with the right support and skills, we all will thrive. I look forward to learning more about you and walking with you on your recovery journey. I recently completed the Telepsychology Competencies Credential. I offer both in-person and virtual sessions.
