I began working as a clinician in residential treatment in 2022, where in this capacity I had the honor of working with veterans and first responders by helping them heal from trauma and substance abuse. As a former first responder former United States Army combat medic (68W), I have had the privilege of serving others in some of the most challenging environments. This journey has shaped my deep understanding of trauma, addiction, and personality disorders, and I’m passionate about applying my experiences to help those who are navigating their own struggles using evidence-based treatment modalities. I truly love what I do!
I specialize in helping individuals confront and heal from the effects of trauma, whether it be from personal experiences, addiction, or tragic events. My approach is rooted in empathy, mutual respect, validation, and a commitment to personalized care. I am a certified clinical trauma professional (CCTP) and use EMDR and post-traumatic growth in my approach.
My time in the military and as a first responder has given me a unique perspective on the challenges people face when dealing with trauma. I have also been through therapy to overcome my own trauma. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep compassion for those struggling with these issues and I’m committed to providing a safe, supportive space for healing.
