A therapy journey starts with you. I listen to tailor our work to your needs. I find it can be beneficial to explore root causes and challenges that create current behavior patterns. Our behaviors and reactions typically meet one of our needs- even if that strategy is no longer a healthy outlet for us. By utilizing an integrative approach, psychodynamic to examine interpersonal relationships, psychoanalytic &, solution focused and the classic cognitive behavioral therapy; I create a pathway for our work together. Therapy is not a “one size fits all” solution. I utilize everything in my mental health toolbox to benefit my clients.
I am a licensed independent social worker who has been working in outpatient individual therapy since 2016. I have extensive experience in the areas of mood disorders, addiction, chronic pain and trauma. I have worked I have worked in different settings including outpatient therapy, inpatient hospitals, and outpatient programs. .
I find that the therapeutic relationship between clinician and client is one of the most important aspects of treatment. Finding a therapist with whom you feel that you have a connection with can help drive the therapeutic process.
