I specialize in providing individuals with long term psychotherapy who are experiencing anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts and self harm, PTSD, drug and alcohol misuse, and relationship difficulties, linked to childhood trauma. I employ elements from a range of therapeutic techniques, including Psychodynamic, Family-Systems, and Cognitive Behavioral theories.
As a licensed psychotherapist, I tailor my approach to your needs. I rely heavily on our relationship to evaluate the patterns you have developed over time. This thinking allows me to help you gain insight into your life and present-day problems.
People often use defense mechanisms to keep painful feelings, memories, and experiences in the unconscious. My role is to help you process and resolve these issues. I offer free telephone consultations and am happy to make recommendations or refer as needed. Keep in mind, as this type of treatment is suited to adults 18+, I do not see children/adolescents.
