I enjoy working with adults who are experiencing high levels of anxiety and panic, along with working to uncover connections between past trauma and current life struggles. Unfortunately, I do not see clients under the age of 18. Active participation is a crucial aspect of therapy and a willingness to change and learn from past experiences is also helpful in making the improvements you want in life. We strive for good days, but it's okay if bad ones happen every now and then. The reality is, life can be hard. Sometimes we just need a nudge in the right direction and an objective viewpoint to help us find our way.
Throughout my educational journey, I have learned that there is more to counseling than just what you can read in a textbook. As a therapist, it is difficult to help someone through a trauma or emotional situation unless you have experienced some of those feelings yourself. Training and experience, as well as genuine understanding, is what I plan to offer.
I do my best to meet people where they are at in life. I also strive to be unconventional in the therapy world and to be my true authentic self, which is something we all strive for deep down. Don't let others get you down. Persevere, find purpose, have courage, and make life what you want it to be.
