I am a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) and Provisional Master Social Worker (PMSW) in the state of Nebraska. I believe in utilizing my skills and knowledge to help individuals through social and mental health issues. I believe in working together with each client, in a compassionate and nonjudgmental way, to assist in increasing their capability to create and obtain their own goals. I am dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and families, with mental health and behavioral issues.
I am a caring, dependable, and patient therapist who utilizes collaboration to support and empower my clients to use their strengths within my therapy sessions. Clients can expect, genuineness, acceptance, active listening, and creativity, within my approach in therapy. My method's will help clients create a healthier outlook on life.
I use a range of therapeutic techniques and interventions within an individualized treatment setting. These include DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Mindfulness, Strength-based Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. These techniques help me support individuals in adjusting to new and/or difficult situations.
