Whether it is exploring and processing past trauma, coping with a recent loss, or working through a major life transition, I am a firm believer that there is no problem too great or too small to bring to therapy. I recognize that all potential clients come with their own unique stories, goals, dreams, and passions, and I approach therapy with each of my clients through an individualized and culturally sensitive lens to ensure treatment needs and goals are being met.
I tend to employ a more person-centered style of therapy, drawing upon elements of CBT and trauma-focused CBT to tailor treatment to individual needs. I have extensive experience with and focus on issues of trauma, generational/family work, and mood disorders (primarily bipolar, anxiety, and depression).
Self-forgiveness and self-love are themes that drive my therapeutic work. Life can be incredibly challenging and unpredictable, and my goal is not only to help my clients work through the obstacles in their lives, but also to know that they never have to face any of these challenges alone.
