Always in a state of worry and focusing on the "what ifs"? How about feeling obsessed over past mistakes or future possibilities? These are all things we can work on through Cognitive Behavioral and Exposure & Response Prevention therapies. You have the power to take charge of your mind by changing the way you respond (behaviors) or changing the way you negatively think about things! It may not seem that easy, but we will determine what your biggest concerns are, and actively work towards a plan to address them through active and realistic changes, depending on your unique needs. Anxiety doesn't have to be your enemy.
In addition to this, I want to express my willingness to work on issues of faith, if requested. A good faith based counselor will match your level of spiritual integration and will acknowledge the importance of scriptural values. If you have questioned your faith at times, or wish to deconstruct the meaning of it, I will walk with you on that journey.
It can be difficult to find the right person to share our concerns with. Rest assured, I will always provide the unconditional acceptance that you seek. While I particularly enjoy working on the issues above, I am always willing to work on other areas of need too. This includes: depression, anxiety, ADHD, panic, PTSD, marriage, and soon couples counseling.
