When we have a safe space to talk about our feelings, they can become less overwhelming and more manageable. As a therapist, I use a strengths-based and collaborative approach to partner with my clients and their caregivers to work through stressors, express emotions, and develop coping skills. With experience in community mental health and healthcare, I specialize working with children, adolescents, and young adults who have experienced anger, anxiety, depression and trauma.
I utilize interventions ranging from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to play based therapy, using art, books, and toys to engage clients hands-on. I value the involvement of caregivers in my practice to foster secure and positive attachment relationships.
I hold a master’s degree in social work from Cleveland State University and I am a licensed independent social worker.
