Morning Glory Center for Creative Healing is literally a dream come true. In 2001, dear friends who were also Mental Health professionals and I started dreaming of the ideal practice. We wanted a warm welcoming place where clients could find the freedom and safety to heal, grow and deepen. We are located in a beautiful old two-story house replete with tea in the kitchen and a therapy dog and bunny. The creative healing part of our name refers to the use of writing, visual art and movement as part of the therapeutic process. We also do traditional psychotherapy with individuals, couples and families. We also have a Pilates Studio.
I tend to specialize in relationship issues as they relate to mental health. I believe relational and spiritual well-being to be essential to emotional and physical health. I have clinical expertise in panic and anxiety disorders, depressive disorders and trauma. I am knowledgeable about medications and nutrition. I see men, women, couples and families.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Board Certified Diplomate. I have been In practice for 30 years. I still absolutely love this work and my clients with whom I have the privilege of engaging in the therapeutic process. I also do Expressive Arts Therapy workshops and retreats which are effective with grief, trauma and deep-level healing of all kinds.
