Exploring Counselor Educators' Perceptions on the Preparedness of Counselors-in-Training to Address Military-Connected Traumas
My name is John Jones, and I am a CES PhD student at Capella University. I work under a mentor supervisor, Dr. Lynn O’Brien, PhD, LPC. I am conducting a research study to explore the perceptions of counselor educators who supervise counselors-in-training addressing military-connected traumas.
The purpose of this generic qualitative study will be to identify any possible deficiencies within counselor preparation for licensure to work with military-connected traumas from the counselor educators' perspective in graduate-level or higher Mental Health Counseling programs in the United States.
