I work with adults navigating the impact of trauma, chronic stress, loss, and major life transitions. Many of the people I support hold high-stress or mission-driven roles in law enforcement, the military, and emergency response, while others face quieter but equally significant disruptions to identity, relationships, or sense of direction. Clients often seek counseling when long-standing coping strategies no longer work or when past experiences continue to shape present reactions.
My work is trauma-informed and grounded in evidence-based approaches, including EMDR and attachment-focused counseling. Together, we focus on reducing the ongoing effects of distressing experiences, strengthening emotional regulation, and clarifying relationships, values, and next steps. Counseling is collaborative, paced carefully, and tailored to you.
Many people I work with are used to managing pressure quietly and pushing through difficult situations. Counseling does not require you to have the right words or a clear plan. We begin where you are, move at a manageable pace, and focus on what genuinely supports you rather than on what you “should” feel or do.
