I view my profession as more than a job, it is my calling. Whether you find yourself struggling to feel accepted or feeling alone or frustrated with life, I have experienced success with many clients through using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) among other techniques tailored to assist you. I enjoy listening empathetically to you, helping identify areas needing work and setting reasonable goals all while providing a safe and non-judgmental environment for your thoughts and feelings. I am intentional about developing our counselor-client relationship through understanding, acceptance, and an appreciation of diversity.
I work with clients who range from young adults to senior citizens and retired veterans. I've helped clients work through difficult issues such as anger, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, low self-esteem, panic attacks, eating disorders, suicidal thoughts, PTSD, as well as other mental and emotional challenges.
During our safe and confidential sessions together we'll discover the skills needed to reach and maintain healthy life goals. I take pride in equipping clients with the tools, skills, and guidance needed to navigate their challenges to find hope in progressing to a healthier and happier self.
