Talking to someone about a problem can be a difficult thing to do, especially when that someone is new. Thus, my goal as a clinician is to foster a relationship that will allow you to be comfortable, develop clear objectives, and ultimately address root problems that are causing negative life experiences. Since past and/or current behavior can serve as major drivers for our feelings, my theoretical approach emphasizes cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and systems theory techniques depending on the presenting problem.
As both a licensed clinical and school psychologist, I also have years of experience in conducting clinical assessments, diagnoses, and developing treatment plans for children, teenagers, and adults experiencing academic, behavioral, and social difficulties, anxiety, depression, stress, men's issues, as well as relationship and family discord.
I currently offer individual, small group, and family therapy sessions, in addition to parent counseling and training related to child behavioral challenges.
