My ideal client identifies as a gay or queer man who has survived sexual abuse, religious abuse, or a conversion therapy program (i.e. “ex-gay” or “pray the gay away"). The symptoms of these traumas tend to manifest in anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship & sexual dysfunction, among others. My clients come to me to decrease these symptoms and become empowered in their mental health, their relationships, and their sexuality.

I practice relational psychoanalysis that is specifically tailored to the experience of gay men. Using a lens of growing up gay in a straight world, we will contextualize what trauma did to your sense of identity, development, and interpersonal skills. You will discover that working through these narratives together ultimately leads to freedom from them.

I know how terrifying it can be to look at these stories. It took me years to be ready to look at my experience in conversion programs, but once I did, my life took on a whole new ease, peace, & freedom. I hope and believe in that for you, too. It's my deep joy to work with fellow gay men in these most sensitive of stories. I hope you'll trust me with yours.

Your first 50-minute consultation session is free. Sessions are $250. I am out of network for all insurance providers. I provide a superbill which you can submit to insurance for reimbursement. Reimbursement is subject to your plan's allowed amount for Out of Network, Outpatient, Behavioral Health.
