About
I earned my undergraduate degree in Bible and Religion from Anderson University. I completed my master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Indiana Wesleyan University. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. Additionally, I have post-graduate training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I have worked in residential facilities for at-risk youth, schools, prisons, churches and private practices.
Utilizing a family systems approach and predominately EFT, I primarily work in the areas of fostering family cohesion and communication, sexual integrity issues, recovering from childhood trauma, healing from marital affairs, and increasing marital satisfaction.
In addition to offering traditionally formatted (i.e. weekly and biweekly) counseling sessions, I offer 1-Day and 2-Day EFT Intensives for couples. Also, I offer EMDR Mini-Intensives in either a three hour or six hour format.
