Now Accepting New Patients! As a humanistic psychologist, I approach sessions with a person-center philosophy based on unconditional positive regard, empathy, and genuineness. Rather than viewing folks through the lens of pathology, I believe that we are all taking towards growth once we are supported by our environment and our basic psychological needs for autonomy, competence, and relatedness are met. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space for healing, where you can achieve greater self-awareness, confidence, and resilience to live a more fulfilling and empowered life.
I specialize working with folks in the neurodivergent community (ex. ADHD, Autism) working primarily with teenagers and adults. I also specialize in addiction/substance abuse therapy and LGBTQIA+ issues. I primarily employ skills from DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) informed-treatment through a trauma-informed lens.
Having lived my life as a neurodivergent member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I channel my own life experience paired with clinical research as fuel for change. The greatest honor I can receive is to witness someone at their most vulnerable point and be a part of the healing process. You are the expert on your own life and it is a privilege to be part of it.
