Each crisis in our lives is an opportunity for healing and growth. My primary approach is relational psychoanalytic, meaning I help patients use the healing power of the therapeutic relationship to uncover and work on their deepest conflicts. An interactive and empathic therapist, I offer advice and support when needed, and I share my own experiences when I think they will be helpful. Though I have extensive, in-depth training, I rely greatly on intuition and humor in my work.
I have completed extensive training in Psychoanalysis (Contemporary Relational approach) and Group Psychotherapy. A Certified Group Psychotherapist and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, I offer Individual, Couples and Group Psychotherapy; Psychoanalysis and Professional Supervision/Consultation (for licensed clinicians).
A Clinical Telemental Health Provider, I Offer Teletherapy Throughout New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, South Carolina and Florida. With 33 years of psychotherapy experience, I am available days and early evenings. Contact me for a Free Consultation - I look forward to hearing from you! Dr Jon (he/they)
