About
We all have strengths that we can develop, as well as challenges from which we can grow. Each crisis in our lives is an opportunity for healing and growth. As your therapist, I will use a variety of techniques to help you achieve your personal, professional, and spiritual goals. My primary approach is relational psychodynamic, meaning I focus on the healing power of the therapeutic relationship. An interactive and empathic therapist, I offer advice and support when needed, and I share my own experiences when I think they will be helpful. Though I have extensive, in-depth training, I rely greatly on intuition and humor in my work.
I have completed extensive training in Psychoanalysis (Contemporary Relational approach) and Group Psychotherapy. I am a Diplomate in Clinical Social Work and a Certified Group Psychotherapist. I offer Individual, Couples and Group Psychotherapy; Psychoanalysis and Professional Supervision/Consultation (for licensed clinicians).
*I Provide Teletherapy Throughout Maryland, the District of Columbia & Virginia.* With over 30 years of psychotherapy experience, I am available both days and early evenings. Feel free to contact me--I look forward to hearing from you!
