For most of us, family gatherings bring up many mixed feelings; when those more distressing feelings change how we act, talk, and present ourselves, it might be time to pause and reflect. Finding the part of ourselves that are needing some polishing or acceptance is something I excel at.
PTSD & C-PTSD are areas I excel in: rediscover your worthiness & put the traumatic memories into the past where they belong. I may also be helpful to you if you are dealing with the aftereffects of our country's Judeo-Christian society: perfectionism, mind-body separation, internalized oppression, grind-culture, & shame.
