Many men I work with feel constantly “on edge” — their mind won’t slow down, stress shows up as irritability or avoidance, and ADHD makes it hard to stay focused or follow through even when they care. Others feel behind compared to where they think they should be, despite putting in real effort. Therapy doesn’t have to be vague or endless to be effective. I specialize in working with adult men dealing with anxiety and ADHD, using evidence-based approaches that focus on practical change and real-life application.
I primarily use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). ACT helps reduce the grip of anxious or self-critical thoughts so you can focus on what actually matters to you. EMDR helps the nervous system process experiences that continue to fuel anxiety, reactivity, or a sense of being stuck.
My style is collaborative, grounded, and goal-oriented. We’ll work at a pace that feels manageable while keeping therapy purposeful and focused. Many men wait longer than they need to before reaching out. Starting therapy isn’t a sign of weakness — it’s a practical step toward getting unstuck.
