Now accepting clients across North Carolina and South Carolina. As a child I was diagnosed with ADHD, Learning Disabilities, and various other labels. None of those labels mattered though, because, we all have the ability to overcome the challenges in our lives and gain personal strength through the therapy process. I hope to be the help others seek. We will work together to identify specific goals and steps that will help you and your family reach greater satisfaction and happiness in life. I will utilize various modalities and theoretical approaches to individualize an approach for you.
As a child I faced my own challenges, experiencing both the positive and negative aspects of the helping professions. I experienced grief and was diagnosed with ADHD as well as a learning disability and told I might be on the Autism spectrum. I began to become oppositional toward authority and was struggling in multiple settings....luckily I found help!
My experiences have provided me with unique insight that can help all of my clients. But in particular, it allows me to connect with young clients struggling as I did. Although the path to achieve my educational goals was difficult, with support, I persevered through difficult times.
