I am honored by your consideration. My name is Jonathan Douglas, I am passionate about helping individuals address life challenges that are oftentimes as a result of unresolved issues stemming from grief and loss, trauma, abuse, societal issues and artifacts from the individuals family of origin. I view seeking help and support as a strength. It is difficult to be vulnerable and explore the challenges that persist, however through that effort we can work to find peace. I aim to offer a unique perspective given my life experiences that I would hope you as a potential client can find of benefit.
I am a practitioner that focuses on how our thoughts affect how we perceive situations. I was trained through the lens of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, however through my own going learning, consultations, workshops, I have been intentional with growing my perspectives and integrating insight, interventions and perspectives from a number of modalities.
Once more, I am greatful for the the opportunity to walk with you through this therapy journal, and I am excited for your growth! Life can be stressful, overwhelming, and downright terrifying at times. Yet, with all that said together we can work to forge a parth forward to more encouraging path.
