The challenges we experience day-to-day vary based on our personal experience of distressing moods, traumatic events, difficulty in our relationships, grief and loss, addictions and challenges in the way we see ourselves and others. I believe that every individual has the potential to live a rich, fulfilling, and meaningful life no matter the challenges that they face. I work with each client and couple to help them identify their own unique set of strengths, values, and goals that will empower them to achieve the change that they seek.
My work with clients is based in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally-Focused Couple Therapy (EFCT), and other effective evidence-based therapy models. I use the input of every client to tailor an appropriate approach to provide support for the issues that they face.
