I have a background in working with children, youth, young adults, transition aged individuals, “at-risk youth,” adults, and individuals with severe and persistent mental health issues/ experiences. I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Attachment- Based Family Therapy (ABFT), and a Trauma Informed lens to support individuals that I work with.
My counseling approach is rooted in the belief that the individuals that I work with are experts in their lives. I don’t take a stance that I know what’s best for them, but I take a role of working collaboratively with individuals as we journey together and along side each other toward the destination they have identified.
