What a mystifying time to be a human navigating this strange world. And how commendable, then, that you're seeking assistance here. My scope of practice includes addressing and processing distress, depression, anxiety, and other issues impacting my clients' daily functioning. I also assist clients facing critical stage of life transitions, including terminal illness, grief, and loss. Additionally, I pursue ongoing trainings so that I can continue accompanying clients exploring a variety of relationship issues and conflicts - whether in their marriages, parenting efforts, or the full range of relational dynamics and daily challenges.
I've worked as a clinical therapist in Alaska for five years and in a variety of capacities within the mental health field for close to twenty years. My therapeutic orientation begins with recognizing where you are at when you enter therapy and respecting the process of your individual journey. I strive to engage this process with sensitivity and compassion.
