Life is a constant battle and we do what we can to power through every day. We can't control everything that comes our way but we can learn to control how to process our environment in a way that is more constructive and less overwhelming. Is stress permeating your days? Are the smallest things causing anxiety? Do you feel easily attacked, targeted, on the defensive? When something bad happens around you, do you usually believe you are partially to blame? Difficult jobs, heavy workload, relationship struggles, family issues, and more concerns can be eased with talking it out in a safe and judgment-free space.
My style is psychodynamic; more specifically modern psychoanalytic. In order words, only talking is involved, no action. Through talking, you will progressively and naturally bring up topics your mind needs to work through. With time, you will emotionally grow and learn, allowing you to receive, process, and react more efficiently to virtually anything.
The analytic approach requires adapting to each client differently and building a safe space to open up without fear of judgment or reaction. We all struggle with our feelings in some situations and that is nothing to be ashamed of. It is actually a strength to admit it. I would be honored to share this emotional journey toward your growth and healing.
