I have worked as a Psychotherapist/Psychoanalyst for almost 45 years. My work is based on understanding our behavior and I communicate that to the person or couple I am working with. I am actively engaged and use a variety of approaches, depending on the individual or situation. I also have had years of experience as a School Social Worker with the NYC school system, working with students who have academic, emotional, and or behavioral issues. I prefer working with parents on how to better understand and adjust to who their children are. I also specialize in working with couples focusing on awareness of issues of their disharmony.
I charge a fair fee taking into consideration my experience and ability. When you call I will be glad to briefly discuss some of your questions. I recommend to people, in the process of choosing a therapist, that they get a sense of the person they are working with, and a feeling of being understood, Also their ability to communicate freely with each other,
I am located in Northport Long Island, recently relocated from Queens NY, with immediate parking and easy access. I am now working via Facetime, Zoom, and phone during the COVID 19 pandemic and in-person, outdoors only, during the Covid-19 pandemic).
