As an (AASECT) Certified Sex Therapist trained in EFT and Psychodynamic Therapy, I work with what other therapists often skim past: desire that has shut down, conflict cycles that won’t shift, shame around sex or porn use, and the gap between wanting closeness and tolerating it.
