I work with couples, individuals and families who want to improve the quality of their relationships and life experience. My typical clients seek therapy because they are feeling stuck in a painful pattern of behavior; they feel overwhelmed in attempting to cope with a major loss or change of life circumstance; they are experiencing distressing thoughts and feelings that seem to intrude on their sense of inner balance.
I have received formal training in Internal Family Systems ( IFS Level 1 trained) and Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT Externship). Prior to counseling, I worked as a performing and teaching musician for almost a decade. I have practiced meditation for over 20 years and played Division I tennis at UT Austin. I am married and a father to two young children.
