Seeking help takes great courage, and I admire you for reaching out. My work centers from my heart and my goal is to build connection with you that role models healthy relationship you can build with yourself and others. I want to help you create safety, strength, joy, and connection in the places you have felt fear, pain, sadness, disorientation, and disconnection.
I work with individuals of all genders, orientations, and backgrounds from adolescence through late adulthood, and I love what I do! I have strong clinical skills treating anxiety, trauma, struggles with anger/violence, and difficulties in relationships and communication. I also am adept at treating depression and substance use.
My approach to therapy is relational, trauma-informed, somatic (body oriented), and emotionally focused. I incorporate neuro-psychology, mindfulness practices, role play, psychodynamics (varied internal parts of self), and often provide guided meditation. I have been a foster parent since 2016 and a Men Evolving Nonviolently facilitator since 2012.
