The focus of my therapeutic work is healing from trauma and correcting problematic behavior patterns. While the majority of my clients are adolescents, I also work with adults. Areas of specialization include: interventions for at-risk adolescents, healing from sexual and physical abuse, grief counseling, adolescent development issues & support for teens and families, crisis intervention, self-esteem, and wilderness and adventure therapy. Brain-Change interventions dominate my therapeutic work.
I am a seasoned professional in the field of youth empowerment. My passion is encouraging teens and supporting their efforts to bring their best to the world. I utilize a balanced therapeutic approach that addresses the whole person and strengthens the interconnections between emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual health.
In addition to establishing Omega Youth Empowerment, I am also the founder of Omega Wolakota, the Legacy program, and Omega Youth Leadership. Countless teens have participated in empowerment programming I have developed and facilitated at regional churches, schools and youth agencies. I opened Omega Youth Empowerment in Adrian in 2010.
