About
I learn through experience, finding a counselor who can relate to what you are dealing with is important in changing your perspective and developing manners of coping. My calling is to assist those who are struggling with feelings of stress and/or depression due to their health, responsibilities, or experiences. My goal is to help you discover a new perspective of your life, to make you stronger and ready, so life can move forward with a clearer positive meaning.
I work with people dealing with chronic illness and their caregivers as they struggle from day to day with the worry of what may happen to them and their love ones. For those dealing with drug or alcohol misuse, I work to find the cause of the dependency, and apply appropriate treatment to replace the addictive behavior with healthy choices.
These time of isolation due to Covid-19 are very difficult for everyone. Having someone to reach out to can be very helpful. I have always believed we are never alone and found spirituality to be a solid foundation. I wrote "In the Midst of the Storms, a Story of Trauma, Faith and Hope" as a source of inspiration.
