Hi there! I am glad you've made the choice to work on yourself! My practice focuses on depression, anxiety, PTSD, relational issues, divorce, low self-esteem/mood disorders, trauma and grief/loss. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Maine with more than 15+ years of experience in the mental health & substance abuse fields in both community-based and hospital settings. I have worked extensively with adolescents/teens and adults ranging in acuity during this time, in both an inpatient and an outpatient setting.
Clinically, I identify as an Eclectic Clinician that utilizes a "Person-centered" approach to empower my clients therapeutically to achieve their goals. I am trained in a variety of therapeutic disciplines, to meet my client's therapeutic needs where they are in the moment, through a non-judgmental & loving-kindness approach.
Life happens, especially with Covid-19 adding more to life's existing stressors, anxiety, past traumatic events & issues affecting interpersonal relationships. Life's pains happen but they only become suffering when we hold on to them too long. It's only when we work through & let go, that relief & peace happens.
