Hi I'm Jon! I specialize in dealing with anxiety, trauma and complex mental health issues. I work primarily with adults, but I am willing to work with adolescents if it is a good fit! I absolutely love working with anyone from an alternative community. If you don't fit in with society you will for sure fit in with me! My goal is for you to one day sit across from me and say "I don't think I need therapy right now".
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Accelerated Resolution, and Internal Family Systems therapy, but I also use techniques and concepts from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I work hard to adapt any approach that we choose to your style instead of mine!
I believe that everyone has a right to pursue what makes them happy, and has the right to an environment in which they can engage in that pursuit. I am accepting of any and all identities! Everyone should have the power and ability to define themselves how they choose.
