My name is Dr. Jolynn Dubea, D.Min., M.Ed., LPC. I am a licensed professional Christ-based counselor who specializes in treating those who suffer from co-occurring conditions such as mental health diagnoses and addiction. My approach to therapy is client-centered, along with an evidenced-based cognitive-behavioral approach. My objective is to work myself out of a job by empowering the client to reach their full potential and become independent of the therapeutic environment. However, with all these techniques and concepts, the foundation of my approach remains centered on the love Christ has for his people.
Historically, I have treated clients with trauma, relational issues, addiction, and those who are justice-involved.
My communication style is very laid back and down-to-earth. I believe that being authentic allows others to be true to themselves and advances their progress much quicker.
