Hi. My name is Jolene Jensen. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Santa Cruz, CA. I am from New Mexico and have over 20 years of experience in the mental health profession, serving a diverse range of clients. I specialize in individual adults with trauma, life transitions, chronic illness/pain, infertility issues, relational challenges and supporting the GLBT+ community. I also serve college age population who are underserved by the University.
I specialize in energy/somatic energy tools, such as EMDR, EFT, some CBT, relational life therapy level 1 and Gottman basic.
I believe it's essential to work cognitively and somatically in order to instill change. My vehicle for transformation includes a non-judgmental, genuine, compassionate guidance. I use humor gently, as appropriate to connect and create new neural pathways in the brain and behavior.
