I am awed by the creative resilience with which we integrate or shoulder the burdens we’ve felt. I find astonishing and courageous the ways in which we not only survive, but find ways to thrive, to express ourselves, and live into the fullness of human experience despite those things that have hurt us and that hurt us now.

We can bring our attention to the "what" and the "how” of your “here and now.” With awareness of what you already do and how you do it, you can develop choice about "what else" you might do and "how else" you might do it. Awareness and choice can bring change and healing.
Sometimes what we feel now is too much like we felt then, and sometimes now feels impossibly unfamiliar.
