Hello, I'm John. Nearly 40 million Americans experience anxiety, and 20 million have depression. I have had the privilege of helping many clients navigate these challenging conditions. My journey in mental health began with a role as a juvenile probation counselor, which inspired me to pursue further studies. I completed my graduate studies at Virginia Commonwealth University and have since worked in various settings, including a mental health clinic, a children's inpatient treatment center, a family service agency, and an adolescent crisis center.
These diverse experiences have enriched my practice and deepened my understanding of different life stages and challenges.
In my private practice, I work with families, couples, and individuals. My strong background in family therapy training has been particularly beneficial for clients seeking to address relationship problems of all types.
