About

I offer both short-term and long-term therapy with adults, adolescents, and seniors. I have a good deal of experience with grief and loss, depression and anxiety, struggles unique to students (across a variety of ages), and issues particular to the creative process. I welcome individuals who desire adaptability in a therapist, deep empathy, and a collaborative attitude about what works.
In addition to private practice, I work at a college and at an adult day health center. Working with individuals across the lifespan grants me an awareness of struggles people often experience at points of transition and loss. As an artist myself, I also work well with creative people.
At the heart of my work is honoring your individuality. Diagnoses are useful, but people should not be reduced to them. I am flexible and draw from varied techniques to meet each client's needs. I also believe strongly in each person's desire to grow and to become empowered.
