I work primarily with adults and older teens with depression, anxiety and difficult life transitions. I specialize in evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) because I believe deeply in the importance of alleviating suffering and increasing happiness, and this approach has repeatedly been proven to be the most effective way of achieving results.
I believe that safety, support, and a non-judgmental atmosphere is the core of good therapy. But that alone is not enough. I will also help you identify barriers to happiness, build skills, and learn how to go after what might make you happy.
