I'm John Rogers, a trauma-informed therapist blending somatic, relational, and psychodynamic approaches. Feeling overwhelmed, lost, or like you're not enough is a deeply human experience. Often it's a sign that life is inviting you toward change. Whether you're navigating grief, perfectionism, relationship struggles, or past trauma, I'm here to walk that path with you. I understand this personally. My own journey into this work began in 2004, after I lost my dad to cancer. Thankfully, I found the right therapist, and that work changed the course of my life.
My focus is on getting curious about what's troubling you, using it as a window into the fuller picture of who you are and what you truly want for yourself. That often means welcoming the parts of ourselves we've learned to hide or ignore, such as uncomfortable emotions, dreams, symbols, and the quieter layers of the psyche we rarely take time to visit.
