About
Each person is unique, and I will work with you to develop treatment goals that are meant to fit you personally. My goal is not to take the role of an expert who tells you why you are wrong, but to be a guide that can help you discover your own path to recovery. My core focus is to work honestly, openly, and respectfully. Feel free to call or email with any questions you may have, and I will happily respond.
I am an eclectic therapist, mostly combining techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person Centered (Humanistic) counseling. This means that I will work with you to develop skills that fit you. I have experience working with a variety of issues including PTSD, depression, anxiety, anger, grief, child behavior issues, addictions, etc.
I know that the choice to begin seeking therapy can be a hard step. If you are struggling, please reach out. I would like to be there to help. And if you are uncertain of whether you will feel comfortable in therapy, feel free to contact me. I would be happy to talk and offer you a chance to decide.
