I enjoy working with a large spectrum of clients. From the intellectual client to the client who is emotionally aware, to the client who may have once been resistant to seeking treatment but is willing to explore it now. I have successfully worked with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, addiction, and relationship issues. Motivation to succeed and interest in change is my ideally compatible client.
I am an engaging and knowledgeable therapist who is passionate about helping people seeking change and identifying their own internal motivations and values to do so. I have extensive training in DBT, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma work. I empower and focus the client on their strengths, rather than highlighting weaknesses.
We rarely reach out for help when everything is going well in our lives. In working with me I create an open, non-judgmental environment where you can be free to express whatever is troubling you. Clients I work with report they look forward to our sessions as they learn new skills which are immediately applicable to difficult situations.
