Howdy! I am a therapist based in West Texas. I work in a university setting, but also provide virtual mental health counseling for Texas residents on evenings and weekends. I primarily work with adolescents, emerging adults, and young professionals on improving self-image, anxiety, depression, identity, and relationships. I value working with folks from all walks of life; "y'all means all." I've been working in collegiate mental health and marital/relational counseling for 8 years. I graduated from Texas Tech University with a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy,
and I have the privilege to train and supervise student therapists. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion education is an important part of my professional identity. Our cultural experiences, values, beliefs, and identities are central to who we are and important aspects of our social and emotional health.
Outside of work, I am a nerd who enjoys comedy, sci-fi, fantasy, video games, and anime. Most of my down time is spent reading, playing games with friends, and spending time with my 8 year old Australian Shepherd mix, Joan Rivers.
