I help people with burnout, grief, chronic stress, and issues with family and relationships. Western ideas of mental health often leave out our humanity, the importance of our personal philosophies. After nearly a decade of clinical work, I've found that such societal pressures can lead to perfectionism, lowered self-worth, and either over- or under- committing. Behind this reactivity are deeper questions about who you are and what deeply matters to you during your time here. I'm here to help you ask and answer these questions.
My approach allows space and time to build self-compassion and self-forgiveness as we explore meaning and values. But we don't just sit and talk. Life is full of actions, not just thought. We will help you choose what steps to take to help you reconnect with your life.
Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Family Systems, we'll identify where you're stuck and how to move forward. For people who have "tried everything"- including other therapies- I'm here to help you get unstuck. I've found this work to have benefited my own journey, and I'd like to share what I've learned with you.
