I am currently not accepting new client referrals. My greatest pleasure is in seeing the people I work with grow, develop new skills, and make choices that bring more joy into their lives and into the lives of their families. I consult with parents to improve discipline and strengthen the parent-child relationship. I also specialize in working with adolescents who are trying to navigate the social and academic pressures that come with secondary school, often working with parents and their teens to foster better communication and trust.
Adults work with me in a variety of contexts: grieving losses; addressing the underlying causes of anxiety, irritability, and depression; finding strategies that empower them in the workplace; and working through issues that arise in couple relationships.
I also see adults with chronic pain and have effectively taught them to recognize the mind/body connection, to think psychologically, and to consequently reduce or eliminate their painful episodes. I offer some early morning and evening appointments.
