If you are feeling stuck and struggling to move forward, maybe we should talk. I’ve worked as a peer counselor and a professional therapist for over twenty years. Working together in a safe confidential atmosphere, you can examine your particular issues whether they be Relationships, Trauma/PTSD, Anxiety or depression. You can find your own hidden strengths, challenge outmoded habits, and develop freeing new solutions. Step by step, you will find ways to move forward finding fulfillment, calmness even joy.

My practice is a virtual practice which allows me to be available to clients who are widely scattered across New York State and Texas. I offer an initial 50 minute, No-Risk session. This initial session gives clients time to share more deeply their needs and for us both to get better acquainted. Email or call to set up an appointment convenient for you.

I especially enjoy working with the LGBT+ community including our Trans Members.. In a quiet non-judgemental space, you can explore issues relating to orientation and gender expression, and find self-acceptance! Couples and Polyamory families are welcome. Family issues including acceptance may be addressed. My practice is kink friendly and affirming.

Many Seniors face unique challenges: retirement-financial preparation; family/friend changes; unexpected health issues. Our bodies may not respond as we expect; loss of loved ones; developing and maintaining a sense of purpose. Each session centers around what members want to discuss. John is an experienced group facilitator. Members are encouraged to participate. Sharing our ideas and hearing other approaches by members we delve into feelings we may not have considered. This on-line process group meets on Zoom each Thursday at 5 p.m. Eastern Time. The group is open to individuals from New York State and Texas

I currently have openings in my Gay Men’s Group. We meet virtually on Wednesdays at 5 p.m. thru 6:15 p.m. Being a gay man is not always an easy thing to do. This group creates a safe welcoming space to explore your feelings of anxiety as you negotiate life life as a gay man. It also gives a space to share our joy and excitement as we overcome barriers and find fulfillment in our lives.
