Client-centered therapy opens the door to those with specific hangups about the concept of therapy as a whole. I am confident in my ability to adapt to a client’s needs such that therapy remains therapeutic process for all clients from all backgrounds. I have been able to shape and reshape my therapeutic style as necessary and have am proud to have played a role in helping my clients work through life’s challenges as they arise, pursue their goals their own pace, and recognize the intrinsic value within their stories along with the all-important role they continue to play within it.
I am a deeply compassionate therapist ready to assist clients make sense of the past and claim, or reclaim, control over their own lives in innovative ways. Therapy with me is largely characterized by prosocial elements, emphasis on humor, and focusing on that which is within the client's control; all within a a judgement-free and supportive environment.
