With 20+ years of experience as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and families. I have worked within a variety of settings including residential treatment, outpatient facilities, educational environments, and private practice. I continue to support clients from diverse cultural backgrounds as well as those who are immersed within the legal system. I have extensive experience helping individuals navigate challenges related to trauma, anxiety, depression, ODD, OCD, LGBTQ, ASD and other emotional and behavioral diagnosis/concerns. I believe in shedding light-You control the course.
I draw from a broad range of evidence-based approaches, including trauma-informed therapy, CBT, DBT, PCT, SFT, OCT and experiential techniques such as role-playing, always tailoring treatment to each person's unique needs and goals. I am available in-person as well as through telehealth, willing to meet the client where they are at.
My approach is grounded in mutual respect and the belief that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful growth and healing. Through patience and understanding, all things can and will be explored with an emphasis on personal growth and overcoming obstacles, attaining goals that once was thought of as unachieveable.
